Formerly known as The Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. and BNA, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bloomberg L.P. that publishes specialized online and print news and information for professionals in business, law and government. It is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia.
GSC was retained to upgraded five (5) IMS DBCTL Systems from IMS Version 5 to IMS Version 7. BNA operated on IMS Version x for five (5) years without any outages before sun setting IMS in 2004.

Landmark Systems Corporation
(Acquired by Allen Systems Group) Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, Landmark Systems Corporation (Nasdaq: LDMK) provided software products and services that help organizations manage their critical information technology systems and e-business operations. Landmark offers PerformanceWorks(R) and The Monitor(R) (TMON), and Landmark WebWatcher — a family of products and services that ensures operating systems, applications, databases, middleware, and servers operate as efficiently and effectively as possible. Used by over 4,000 companies in 40 countries, Landmark solutions ensure optimum systems performance by monitoring current system availability, diagnosing and preventing problems, as well as planning for future enterprise application capacity needs.

GSC was retained to perform an independent analysis of their new The Monitor(R) (TMON), for IMS monitoring solution. Their new offering was entering a market where they lagged some fifteen years as compared to their competition. They required detailed analysis to compare their efforts with those of the existing products. GSC’s efforts produced competitive analyzes and technical write ups that was instrumental in Landmark gaining a competitive edge in the market place. Our findings were published in the Landmark News.

Boscov’s Department Stores
Boscov’s is an American department store founded by Solomon Boscov in 1911. The first store was in Reading, Pennsylvania, and today 43 stores are spread throughout the Mid-Atlantic states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, New York, Delaware, and Ohio. Boscov’s, along with Belk, Von Maur and Dillard’s, is one of the last family-owned department store chains in the United States, and has yearly revenue of over $1 billion. The chain of stores competes with the prices and products of The Bon-Ton. In some cities, Boscov’s now competes with JCPenney, Macy’s and Sears.

(ANICO) American National Insurance Company was founded in 1905 by William L. Moody, Jr. and is headquartered in Galveston, Texas. The Company has multiple subsidiaries, and has operations in Springfield, Missouri; Glenmont, New York; and League City, Texas.
